Water & Waste Water Utilities

Public water and wastewater utilities face numerous challenges in meeting customer demands with increasing limits on available water supplies and expanding restrictions on surface water quality. Water Science Associates staff have provided hydrogeologic consulting services for dozens of water and wastewater utilities in Florida over the past 30 years, including the majority of municipalities in Southwest Florida.

Our staff have been involved in planning, design, and permitting on the award winning Aquifer Storage and Recovery (ASR) facility at Marco Island Utilities, the development of highly progressive integrated water management programs for Lee County, Collier County, and the City of Cape Coral, and in the evaluation and development of water supply wells, aquifer storage and recovery wells, and deep injection wells for Collier County, the City of Cape Coral, St Johns County, Jacksonville Electric Authority, Emerald Coast Utility Authority, Brevard County, the City of Melbourne, Indian River County, Lee County, Charlotte County, Tampa Bay Water, Boca Raton, Deerfield Beach, the Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority, and the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Authority.
